21st-century skills article (and Jake's article): Morgan and his team with DOK to assess and apply cognitive skills; science lab & projects; innovation fair maybe with SABIC and the Museum; history classes, DBQ's (using primary sources); service learning (trash behind Taconic, used to build boats); vocational shop—workplace readiness; ask the question, ready for work, ready for college, same or different?, algebraic thinking, geometric thinking, reading and writing nonfiction. Jake will write it. The Chamber is developing a curriculum of workplace readiness certification. Strategies for Success class for maturity.
