Questions Man

How much does it cost to attend classes at the Pittsfield Adult Learning Center?

Our services are free to students. We supply books, writing materials, etc. There is a fee of $65 to take the GED once a student is ready which is given at Berkshire Community College.

How long will I have to attend classes before I get my GED?

Everyone comes to the program with different learning levels. It can take from a few months to a few years or more to prepare for the GED. If you attended school through the eleventh grade, you may not be with us as long as someone who dropped out in the ninth grade. Students also have different learning styles which cause people to learn at a faster or slower pace. If you are serious about learning and allow yourself to be patient with the process, you will have a positive learning experience.
